Im part Cherokee Native American, and once worked for the National Park Service. As part of my job, I went up this winding mountain trail that was both narrow and long, as the rangers told me to go see their bears, and a six hundred pound black bear raced down the trail, blocking my path. I menacingly advanced, and the bear turned away around, going straight uphill back all the way hed come. I think my backpack scared him, as it was huge and loomed over me, causing him to get scared and leave.
