A Pain Management Solution for People Who Can't Take Oral Ibuprofen

(ARA) - Leon Flottemesch, 55, of Hudson, Wisc., use to take 12 to16 ibuprofen tablets a day to combat the pain in his knees.

"Because I am overweight, I have had bad knees for most of my life. I had the right one replaced in April of 2005, the left one about six months later," says Flottemesch who adds that the left knee never really seemed to heal after the surgeries. "The doctors determined the pain was being caused by an infection around the joints. But after he underwent stomach surgery, he was advised by his physician against taking oral pain medication.
