The amount Amazon can afford to pay you isn't high - they keep their prices low, so they don't make much money per sale either. But the range of products they sell is very, very wide. Chances are that you can find some of them to sell from your blog.

Actually it's even easier than that. Amazon's computers can work out what your site is talking about and recommend relevant products. So it can be as simple as just adding a small piece of code and letting their computer do the rest of the work.

Alternatively, you can add a complete Amazon store of your own. The choice is yours.

Another way of making money from your blog is by offering relevant products. Whilst it's easy to add Amazon products, you're likely to get more income by searching out the original product producer. You'll be surprised how many suppliers offer their own affiliate program and pay commissions when you introduce a sale to them.

Some suppliers use the big affiliate programs such as Commission Junction and Shareasale. Others run their own program. Each industry is different, so you need to do a bit of research to find out the best way to earn money from your blog.

For instance, if you have a blog that promotes wide screen televisions, chances are that you're best off with Commission Junction. On the other hand, if you're talking about natural remedies for things like acne, you may earn more cash with Clickbank products.

Experiment.

Test.

If something doesn't work, change it for an alternative. Your blog was made to be easy to change, so use that easiness when it comes to making money from it as well as when you're posting regular blog content.
