Calvin Robert is from California’s Bay Area and was set to go to San Jose State to play cornerback. But when SJS was found to have a low academic progress rate score they were stripped of seven football scholarships. They shortly after this removed Roberts football scholarship. Luckily the speedy cornerback was still able to connect with the University of Hawaii and he recently accpeted a football scholarship from the Warriors.

The academic progress report is one of the few solid programs that the NCAA has come up with to enforce some academic accountability. But what does this say about San Jose State’s football academic status?
